The U.S. Coast Guard has ended the search for 11 people believed missing after a boat sank off Mexico’s Baja California coast. Rescuers saved 16 of those who were on board when they reached the area Friday. Some survivors had suspected shark bites. Crews from the U.S. and Mexico spent nearly four days looking for survivors before ending the search late Sunday. The Coast Guard says the boat capsized in an area frequented by smugglers outside of U.S. waters. The boat’s origin, destination and what it was doing isn't clear yet. The Mexican consulate in San Diego said all those rescued were Mexican nationals.
