A National Guard vehicle collided with a civilian car near the U.S. Capitol as troops took positions around Washington during President Donald Trump's crackdown. A person was trapped in the car and had to be rescued by emergency responders, according to a Washington fire department spokesman. The person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Police say the driver was conscious and breathing. An estimated 1,900 troops are being deployed in D.C., with more than half coming from Republican-led states. Attorney General Pam Bondi says over 550 people have been arrested so far.
