Florida authorities say they have responded to an “active threat” at a Citibank office complex in the Tampa area. Officers swarmed the campus Wednesday afternoon, and long lines of workers streamed out of the buildings. The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said in a post on the social platform X that it had “responded to an active threat and is currently clearing the building.” Sheriff Chad Chronister posted on X that “we believe this is a targeted incident" and that  “the suspect involved is deceased.” The Citibank campus in suburban Tampa includes four three-story office buildings that house thousands of the banking giant’s employees.
