The White House says the United States is banning dairy products, most alcoholic beverages and  some motorcycles from Canada, as the trade war between the two nations escalates. The ban will take effect in three weeks, on Sept. 29, and comes after retaliatory tariffs promised by Canada took effect earlier Tuesday on $20 billion in U.S. imports. A senior official in the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump said Trump signed paperwork Tuesday outlining his justification for the ban. The documents were posted on the White House's website.
