Ruth Ann Minner, former Governor of Delaware, has died at the age of 86. Minner was born in Slaughter Neck. When she was 16, she left her to help her family's farm. At 32, she was left widowed with three children, and worked two jobs while going to school to earn her G.E.D.
ANNAPOLIS, Md.- Governor Larry Hogan has announced that, according to official CDC data, Maryland has vaccinated 75% of adults with at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. The governor credits the help of the $2 million dollar vaccine lottery.

Dupont served as Delaware's Chief Executive from 1977 to 1985.
Before that he served as the first state's US Representative from 1971 to 1977.
Pete Du Pont was 86 years old.
