Extreme heat has returned to Delmarva and Wednesday marked the third day in a row temperatures reached the 90s. The National Weather Service issued a code orange, air quality advisory. The advisory was in effect throughout Wednesday.

People still had to work outside today on Delmarva, even though temperatures were soaring in the 90s. Outdoor workers in Western Sussex County are facing a heatwave lasting until the end of the week. Some workers pushing through the heat are Walmart employees pushing shopping carts. Walmart employee Jadon Hayward said the hot weather is nothing new to him.
