Delaware Governor Matt Meyer signed House Bill 119, or the 'Freedom to Read Act', into law Monday morning. The newly established law sets statewide standards for how public and school libraries in the state manage challenges to literature on their shelves.

MARYLAND -- A bill making its way through the Maryland House of Delegates would mandate local school systems create an age-appropriate curriculum for health education. The curriculum would be based off of a Comprehensive Health Education Framework, established by the Maryland Department of Education in 2021.
