Gadi Eisenkot, a former military chief, still has a chance of ousting longtime Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. With the results of Israel's Tuesday election trickling in, Eisenkot's party appears to be trailing Netanyahu's in seats, but that could change if he's open to being in a coalition with Arab parties. Eisenkot quit Netanyahu’s Gaza war Cabinet after they disagreed about strategy. He's the head of the centrist party, “Yashar!” which means “straight” in Hebrew. His platform includes strengthening national security, uniting the country and investing in public education.
