A federal judge has again directed the Trump administration to provide information about efforts to retrieve Kilmar Abrego Garcia from an El Salvador prison. U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis temporarily halted her directive for the information at the administration’s request. But that pause expires at 5 p.m. Wednesday. She set May deadlines for Trump officials to provide sworn testimony. The Maryland judge ordered Abrego Garcia's return on April 4 after he was mistakenly deported. Since then, Xinis has lambasted officials for failing to explain anything that they've done to bring him back.
