NFL commentator and former quarterback Mark Sanchez is in the hospital after he was apparently stabbed in an overnight altercation in downtown Indianapolis. FOX Sports said in a statement Saturday on social media that Sanchez was in stable condition. Indianapolis police released a statement that didn’t identify Sanchez, but says it was investigating a confrontation around 12:30 a.m. Saturday between two men, one of whom was hospitalized with stab wounds. Police say the other man received treatment for lacerations. Detectives had reviewed video footage of the confrontation, which occurred in the popular downtown nightlife Wholesale District next to the Indiana statehouse.
