The town of Ocean City is one step away from clamping down on people who are too loud on the boardwalk. Mayor Rick Meehan says a new study found the allowable noise threshold for the boardwalk area to be about the equivalent of a car driving 65 miles per hour. The new noise threshold would allow officers to enforce and prosecute those who are too loud. That includes street performers, partygoers and large crowds.
