A new state audit of Worcester County Public Schools has identified several financial oversight concerns, including allegedly questionable purchases by a management employee that have been referred to the Maryland Office of the State Prosecutor.

The Delaware Office of Auditor of Accounts has conducted an audit of the Memorial Volunteer Fire Company revealing what the office calls “control deficiencies” that reportedly exposed the fire company to financial risk. 

The Maryland Office of Legislative Audits found the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) failed to properly account for millions of dollars in funding following a recent audit of the department.
