South Korean officials are struggling to free a large gray shark trapped for over a month in a canal in Busan. The 3-meter-long dusky shark, nicknamed Bukangi, has become a tourist attraction, drawing over 1.6 million visitors. On Wednesday, officials used a floating platform to guide the shark out, but it remained at the canal's mouth. This was the third attempt to free Bukangi, following failed efforts in late September and early October. Experts are concerned about the shark's health, noting it hasn't fed and faces risks from falling water temperatures. Busan's mayor expressed determination to ensure Bukangi's safe return to the sea.
