At least 10 people have died in a crash between two trains in central Spain, according to local media. Spain’s rail system operator, ADIF, said the crash occurred Wednesday morning in the province of Toledo. Rail service is suspended between Madrid, Ciudad Real, and Andalusia. TVE reports that the accident involved two high-speed trains heading in the same direction, with one running into the tail of the other. The mayor of Urda said passengers were injured, and civil protection authorities have asked for a sports pavilion to attend to them. The regional president is on his way to the crash site.
