The Modern Maturity Center is asking the community to step up as demand for its Meals on Wheels program continues to grow across Kent County.
It's been a hot week across the peninsula, and local programs and businesses are still finding ways to beat the heat.
Golfing for a great cause. MAC Inc., the Area Agency on Aging, will sponsor a golf tournament on Wednesday, May 19, at Nutters Crossing Golf Club in Salisbury. Proceeds will benefit MAC’s home-delivered meals program (Meals on Wheels).
Registration begins at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Lunch and awards ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded.
