UMES Marine Science Professor, Brad Stevens, used to work in Alaska, where he discovered a long-lost Russian ship in the frigid waters of the North Pacific.
He wrote a book called, “The Ship, The Saint, and The Sailor: The Long Search for the Legendary Kad’Yak” about the discovery and the unusual story about the ship’s connection to a saint.
