Berlin, Md. has launched its first-ever Berlin Restaurant Week full of comfort foods the locals will love.
One of Berlin’s newest restaurants, Crush-N-Crab, says they have been participating in every event possible and it has been a great experience.
“I think it will be great for all the businesses here in Berlin,” LaToya Seltzer, manager at Crush-N-Crab, said. “It really benefits the locals, it gives them a chance to go out and see which businesses are out there.”
Berlin Restaurant Week runs from Jan. 11-17 and during this time, Crush-N-Crab will be offering $2.99 breakfasts, $7.99 lunches, $20 three course dinner meals.

With all the new restaurants in ‘America’s Coolest Small Town,’ Cam Bunting, broker and owner of Bunting Reality, says this event will help the public fall in love with the town just like she did.
Bunting proposed the idea with the help of her kids.
“My kids are in other parts of the state and they are always talking about different restaurant weeks and how great they are,” Bunting said. “There’s so many different events that the merchants do in town and my contribution to the community was to organize this.”
Bunting mentioned the idea to a handful of restaurant owners. Immediately, the merchants were on board expressing the need to bring business to the town during the slower time of year.
Not only does Bunting feel the week will be great for the locals who don’t want to wait in line during the summer months, the Berlin business owner says this event fits into the town’s business plan.
“Anything you can do for economic development will fit into this town’s business plan,” Bunting said.
The patrons aren’t the only ones excited.
Terry Feehley, owner and operator of Leaky Pete’s Oyster Bar and Chophouse, can’t wait for his guests to try his Grilled Cheese sandwich with Jarlsburg Swiss, apples and Dijon and a bowl of Cream of Crab. He’ll be featuring that special all week at lunch for just $10.95.

“Hopefully this will help get people out, with the cold weather and everything,” Feehley said.
Bunting tells WBOC Berlin will be holding another restaurant week in the spring and hopes to continue these special weeks twice a year.
