The town of Laurel may only be a few thousand people, but there is a lot to offer here and the opportunities keep growing.
A new project called ‘The Ramble’ is being planned by the Laurel Redevelopment Corporation. It is a plan to build a river walk along Broad Creek and redevelop a 4 block area. A groundbreaking is expected in 2020.
Local business buildings and homes are also being restored. The Sussex Habitat for Humanity is renovating 10 rental properties and turning them into single family homes.
The community is investing in the town and now the town is going through improvements.
