PRMC’s hosts the annual Sneakers and Creepers 5k run/two mile walk Sunday, Oct. 29 to promote an active lifestyle.

Exercie Physiologist Caroline Ferrel with Peninsula Regional Medical Center said physical activity is important for a happy, healthy person.

The event is completely free to the public, and the race begins promptly at 9 a.m. Pets are allowed. There will be a costume contest for children, pets, and groups, along with a DJ and a warm up before the race. Halloween candy and breakfast foods such as bagels will be offered.

People can register either online or the same day of the race.
