The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is looking for a wanted sex offender accused of failing to re-register his current address with law enforcement authorities, as required by law.

Investigators have obtained warrants for 58-year-old Edward F. Shockley of Frederica. Shockley is described as white, 5-foot-7, 155 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. According to the Delaware Sex Offender Central Registry, Shockley is a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) offender, who was convicted in August 2007 of fourth-degree rape of a victim over the age of 18.
The Delaware State Police Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit is asking anyone who may know Shockley’s location to call (302) 672-5306. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at www.delaware.crimestoppersweb.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword “DSP.”
