“I think it’s great because you don’t need anything for it. You need no equipment whatsoever. All you need is your body. It helps with weight loss and there’s so many health benefits with it,” Kelcie says.

According to the American Osteopathic Association, there are many physical benefits to yoga:

  • Increased flexibility

  • Increased muscle strength and tone

  • Improved respiration, energy and vitality

  • Maintaining a balanced metabolism

  • Weight reduction

  • Cardio and circulatory health

  • Improved athletic performance

  • Protection from injury

There are also mental benefits from yoga, such as managing stress.

Sean and Kelcie perform acroyoga – or yoga with more than one person. Acroyoga involves a base and a flyer and takes  a lot of balance and concentration.
