The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 120,000 new cases of melanoma are diagnosed in the United States each year. Of those, 76,00 cases are considered invasive, with about 44,000 of those cases happening to men. Nearly 10,000 people die each year from this form of cancer.

- Most are black or brown, but can also resemble skin color
- Regular visits with a dermatologist will help determine whether or not you have any symptoms
