In addition to school supplies and school clothes, it’s time to get a back-to-school haircut.
About Faces Day Spa and Salon manager, Crystal Miles says right now is the best time to get a fresh look before families get busy with the daily grind of school and school activities.
“There’s nothing better than starting off your first day of school feeling good, looking good, and that can definitely help if you’ve had a fresh haircut or color service done,” said Crystal.
For little boys, Crystal says, traditional is popular, but that sometimes they want to sport the older boy styles.

“They’re just into their hair now and they want to look good, or they want to look polished, or they want to look funky,” said Crystal.
Crystal says there’s even ways for parents and kids to meet in the middle when it comes to the cut.
“You could always do the mohawk that also combs down into a somewhat normal style,” said Crystal.
When it comes to girls, Crystal says they’re back-to-school cut is usually just a trim.
“For the young girls, maybe some bangs, maybe something along those lines, but I would say a majority of the teens that we get in, they’re looking to keep their hair long,” said Crystal.
Along with that trim, young ladies can get some pointers on how to cut down on hair styling time before they head to school, such as a side braid.
Crystal says now is a good time to stock up on products such as shampoo, conditioner, and styling gels.
