During this time of year, many people are visiting haunted houses in the area.
We sent Sydney Whitfield to preview the Cemetery House in Laurel, Del. put on my Charity Lodge Number 27, International Order of Odd Fellows. Sydney learns that the Cemetery House is more than a haunted attraction in town.
There are many volunteers who work hard to put everything together before the season starts and they help keep things running smoothly each weekend in October. Also, a good portion of the money raised goes back to the community.
The Cemetery House is open Oct. 27, and 28 with tickets being sold from 7 pm- 11 pm. Parking is at the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department where you will begin your night on a haunted hay ride. Admission is $10 or $9 with the donation of a canned good.
