“Just the nature of Ocean City – we’re susceptible to storms,” Chris says. “We have a lot of seasonal people. Burst pipes are very common because people turn their heat off in the winter. If we have a cold winter and a lot of wind, the pipes freeze and burst which causes a lot of water damage.”
If flooding does happen, Chris says the first thing you do is call your insurance company.
“They will direct you to everything you need to do. Their primary focus right off the bat is getting you dried out. It’s the race against the mold,” Chris says.
Chris says his team is experienced and can help dry out the carpets and sub-floors for smaller areas, and then they can help you rebuild.
