Did you know that there is a place on Delmarva where with no effort at all, you can relieve pain, stress, enhance athletic performance, and improve sleep?
Sounds almost too good to be true, right? Well we sent 102.5 WBOC’s Corey Phoebus to check out Ocean Elements, Delmarva’s first salt cave and float center.
Corey chats with Registered Nurse Jeanne Mills who is the owner of Ocean Elements about her background and her passion behind wanting to open a facility like this. The center gives people the opportunity to heal themselves whether it’s chronic pain or de-stressing, the spa and float center can help. Jeanne says the spa and float center does not involve any prescription medications at all.
They have float suite which is 220 gallon of body temperature water and 1,000 lbs. of Epsom salts. They also offers two floating pods. After each client, the water is filtered so you do not have to worry about germs.
They also have a rest bed which is an option if you do not want to get wet. Jeanne also tells us about their salt room, or salt cave, which is where the person can relax and the pink Himalayan on the wall ejects salt particles in the air. This helps with those who have upper respiratory issues, COPD and it’s good for those with skin conditions as well like psoriasis and eczema.
Any veteran that walks through the doors at Ocean Elements will receive any of their services for free. It’s all a part of their partnership with Pathways for Veterans.
Jeanne wanted to give a shoutout to Dale Ridgeway with Custom Line Contracting who helped bring this awesome center to life in West Ocean City.
