“This product actually blends with the concrete, becomes part of the concrete, and that’s why we are able to offer such a long warranty, ” says Presto.
The five-step process begins with removing a very thin layer of the concrete floor. After that, a base coat is applied. The base coat actually bonds with the concrete.
“Epoxies are just applied to the concrete, just painted on that’s why most epoxies will show signs of chip and peel within two years,” Presto said.
The basecoat is made of a polyurea resin blend and provides strength and stability. The next layer of vinyl chips is what brings beauty and style to the floor.
“We use an evolution chip system which basically broadcasts chips onto the base coat and cover it with a top coat with almost any color selection,” said Presto.
The top coat is a polyasparatic seal that offers abrasion resistant capabilities, protecting the floor from chips or peeling, even chemicals and U.V. damage.
“it’s much easier to clean up than just raw concrete, not only oil, any type of chemical, gas whatever,” said Presto.
