Dustin and Rachel Parker are the perfect example of a couple who turned their passion into their career.
It was just a few years ago when they decided to start their business, The Parker Group. Dustin and Rachel were both teachers at the time when they found out that they were having a baby.
They knew they wanted to have a little bit more time and flexibility with their schedules, which inspired them to pursue Real Estate.
The business really took off in June 2015. The couple even had to quickly transition out of their teaching careers to handle all of their clients. They haven’t stopped growing ever since.
“So even though we’ve only been in the business for just a couple of years we have had tremendous growth, Dustin says, “We are the fastest-growing Real Estate team in Delaware. We’ve taken on so many people with such great skill sets and experience to support us and I think that we really deliver good service”
Dustin and Rachel say supporting the local economy means so much to them that they started a video series called “Get local.” The series explores other local businesses by introducing them to their followers.
The Parkers also use social media to educate their followers and clients about real estate through a series called “Parker group Live”
They say one of the best parts of doing Real Estate is the fact that they get to interact with so many people and support other local businesses. Rachel says she thinks it’s important to support the community that supports them.
“We’ve had opportunities to use businesses to connect people coming to this area with what we love so much about the community.” Rachel says, “So it’s just a fun way to promote Delaware”
