Prevention is key when it comes to good health.
However, in today’s fast-paced world, many of us feel like we just can’t find the time to make the appointments at the various doctor’s offices, get lab work done, and go back to the doctor’s office for results. But there’s a lot you need to be keeping track of when it comes to your health, and time is no excuse.
You can get many of the necessary health screenings done at Peninsula Regional Medical Center’s Live Well Healthfest. Director of Community Relations at PRMC, Roger Follebout, tells us more about their annual event that just seems to be getting bigger each year.
Healthfest features more than 35 screenings including vision and hearing, glaucoma, stroke assessment, height, weight and body fat, skin cancer awareness, bone density, balance, kidney disease risk testing, lower body circulation, blood pressure testing, mental health awareness and much more.
Healthfest is April 1 from 7:30 am-12:30 pm at James M. Bennett High School. For more information, go here.
