What’s Happening Today- June 20, 2017

Joining Corey and Lisa in the kitchen, assembling an array multi-flavored wings and burgers, is Joy Quinn-Whalen, owner of Spice & Tea Exchange.

Joy shows Corey and Lisa the perfect way to spice up some classic summer recipes with help of the Spice Exchange’s seasonings. First, Joy gave us the step-by-step on how to create four amazing wing recipes, perfect for any summer barbecue. All the recipes are available on the Spice & Tea Exchange website, as well as many other recipes including multiple recipes for mouth-watering sliders and burgers.

Then we had to wash it down. Joy showed us two different recipes that put twist on a classic cocktail- the Arnold Palmer- with help from some refreshing summer infusions.

Blueberry Black/Lemonade:  a cool, clean taste on its own, but when combined in equal parts to lemonade, it creates a sensational take on an Arnold Palmer!

Fizzy Arnold: create a “double” steep of our White Papaya Tea (2T tea w/ 8oz water 180’ for 3-4 minutes). Rim glass with TSTE® Lemon Sugar and combine with equal parts 8oz (Fentiman’s) Victorian Lemonade Soda. Serve over ice.
