The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters are coming back to Delmarva on March 23 for a show at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
This is the team’s 91st season touring the world –and boy do they put on quite the show. DelmarvaLife’s Maxine Bentzel talks with Harlem Globetroller, Buckets Blakes about their upcoming show at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
Buckets Blakes holds the record for the highest basketball shot ever taken in North America. He made the shot from 583 feet and eight inches. However, that’s not the only record Buckets Blakes holds. He also holds the Guinness World Record for most underhanded shots from half court in one minute. Buckets Blakes shows Maxine the steps to becoming a Harlem Globetrotter.
