Other Notable Trick-or-Treat/Halloween-Related Events on Delmarva:

29th Annual Sea Witch Festival, Oct. 26-28, Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach, Delaware resort area. Note: The Sea Witch Parade scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27, has been canceled due to the weather.  Popular activities include trick or treating, dog parade, Saturday costume parade, beach games, 5K race, horse shows, live bandstand entertainment and much more.  Click here for more information.

Ocean Pines Halloween Fall Festival, White Horse Park, Saturday, Oct. 27, 1-4 p.m. The Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department will host several spooky offerings at the public event that will be held at 235 Ocean Parkway, including costume contests, carnival games, face painting, pony rides, candy, a haunted hayride, crafts, refreshments for sale and more. A Howl-o-ween Dog Costume Contest encourages dog owners to dress their furry friends in costumes for a shot at bragging rights and giveaways.  There is no entry fee or pre-registration. Children also will be able to get in on the costume fun. Costume contests for children age 2 and under is set for 1:30 p.m., children age 3 and 4 at 2 p.m., those age 5 – 7 at 2:30 p.m. and kids age 8 – 10 at 3 p.m. All ages are welcome. Admission is free. But there will be a fee for some attractions. Harvest Fest- Trick or Treat at Mardela Middle High School, Friday, Oct. 26, at Mardela Middle/High School, 24940 Delmar Road, Mardela Springs, MD. Come join Mardela’s National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society for their annual Harvest Festival. Walk through the decorated halls of Mardela for a fun night of trick-or-treating. The admission fee is a $5 donation per child 12 and under with an accompanying adult.

First Annual Trunk or Treat, Town of Laurel, Del. and Laurel Police Department, Saturday, Oct. 27, 7-9 p.m.  Location: Parking lot where Beauty for Ashes, Laurel Community Hardware, and Sportz Tee’s businesses reside.

House of Lights, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 6-8 p.m., Faith Baptist Church, 30505 Dagsboro Road, Salisbury, MD. Come for candy – 12 car trunks full, a hayride, animal balloons, glow sticks and more.

Downtown Denton Trunk or Treat, Saturday, Oct. 27, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Gay & 4th streets, Denton, Md. Come out to trick-or-treat or decorate your car and hand out candy. For more information visit www.downtowndenton.com.

Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Trunk or Treat, Tuesday, Oct. 30, 6-8 p.m., Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Salisbury Campus, 217 Beaglin Park Dr., Salisbury, MD.  Tons of decked out trunks, loads of free candy, local mascots, Feet of Fire dance troupe, and more. Free admission to the event. Snacks and beverages will also be available for sale.

Trick or Treat Off the Street, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m., Tanger Outlets. Children 12 and under are invited to Trick or Treat from store to store on Wednesday, October 31st from 5-7 PM at all three Tanger Outlet locations in Rehoboth: Surfside, Bayside and Seaside. Look for the participating store door decals.

Salisbury Jaycees’ 11th Annual Trick Street, Wednesday, Oct. 31, on Salisbury’s Downtown Plaza. In the case of rain, activities will move indoors to the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Business Center, 144 E. Main St. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with registration at the corner of West Main and North Division streets. Treat tables will be open on the Plaza from 6-8 p.m., with games, storytelling, local mascots, photo opportunities and other activities available from 6-9 p.m. Attractions include hands-on activities, face painting and a coloring area, as well as freshly popped popcorn presented by St. Francis de Sales Boy Scout Troop 185. Admission is free and the public is invited. Children must register that evening to participate. Registration is open for children through age 11. All children must wear costumes and be accompanied by an adult. Adults may dress up, but are encouraged to make their costumes non-scary and appropriate for young children. Candy bags for children who do not bring their own will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Jaycees also participate in Food Allergy Research and Education’s Teal Pumpkin Project, offering non-candy treats for children with food allergies. Princess Anne Main Street Trick-or-Treat, Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 4-5 p.m. Main Street Princess Anne businesses will offering trick-or-treating along Somerset Avenue, between Broad and Washington streets. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Participating businesses include Somerset Choice Station Antiques, Hayman’s Antiques & Collectibles, Junior’s Wines, and more.

Parksley’s Annual Trick-or-Treat, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m., Come out to the Parksley Town Parking Lot on Halloween night for Trunk or Treat. Two Costume Contests. Ages 0-5 & 6-12 at 6 p.m. – Cash Prizes. Refreshments provided by Grace United Methodist Church and Parksley Baptist Church. Candy for everyone WITH costumes. Everyone welcome to participate. Tilghman Island Haunted House, Tilghman, Maryland. Nov. 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. $10 per person. Parking is at the end of Route 33 at Black Walnut Point. This an event for all ages with the haunted house inside a barn built in 1926. All proceeds to benefit the Tilghman Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
