Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Just in case you haven’t secured something for your loved ones, why not try something sweet?
No, not candy. We’re talking about a fruit bouquet from Edible Arrangements in Salisbury, Md.
There are all kinds of ways to say ‘I love you.’ A thoughtful card, some nice flowers, or one of the more tasty options – an Edible Arrangement.
“An edible arrangement is a fruit basket you can get in all shapes and sizes any variety,” Fruit Expert Katie Malone says. “Most people do it just as if they were sending flowers they do it to make people happy, they do it for special occasions and a lot of people do it just because. Just because they love someone or they want them to know that they’re thinking about them.”
Katie says Valentine’s Day is one of the most popular days of the year to let someone know you’re thinking of them.
“Valentine’s Day alone last year on the 14th we had about a thousand orders, on the 13th we had about 600 and on the 12th about 400,” Katie says.
Each bouquet is made with hand cut, fresh fruit like honeydew, cantaloupe, strawberries, grapes, bananas, and oranges.
You can order them in person, over the phone or online. You can pick the bouquet up yourself or have it delivered.
