The grand opening of the new CHEER Center in Milton is Monday, complete with entertainment, a luncheon, tours, door prizes and more. The kitchen will better serve seniors receiving Meals on Wheels, and a dining and meeting room is availabloe for rental for weddings, anniversaries and parties.

The OC Air Show has announced the third of their headliners. Joining the US Navy Blue Angels and the Breitling Jet Team will be the US Air Force F-22 Raptor demo team! Some of the top civilian and military performers will fill the skies over the boardwalk of the Ocean City beach!

WALLOPS LAUNCH2
Three sub-orbital rockets were launched from Wallops Island Flight Facility, and successfully tracked by three destroyers in the Atlantic. The Department of Defense says the Aegis Ballistics Weapons Defense System worked perfectly in acquiring the live targets and simulated guided missile engagements.
Kent County Theater Guild presents “Doubt” at the patchwork Playhouse in Dover. Director Becky Craft says the play is about the tenous line between a priest and students.

QUILTS IN THE GARDEN
The Bayside Quilters of the Eastern Shore has chosen the Oxford Community Center for this summer’s three-day bi-annual quilt show called “Quilts in the Garden.” If you’re interested in finding out more about quilting, there are about 180 members who meet the second Wednesday of each month at the Easton Fire Department.
