We learn about the events happening at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park and Visitor Center from Assistant Park Manager, Angie Crenshaw.

Our musical guest, Sunni Smilez says she uses her voice to help people heal and it’s working. At only twenty-three years old, she’s recorded with Grammy Award-winning engineers and has partnered with writers from the entertainment company, Roc Nation.

Young people are stepping up to strike down cancer. A program through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society gives them the education and tools to make a difference in the lives of their peers fighting the battle. Bethany Goldsmith, the lead with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Students of the Year Eastern Shore Campaign, is here to teach us more.

 

We’re off to Mandie’s Magical Marketplace in Lewes to hear how crystals, herbs, and stones may be able to better your life. Chesapeake Country’s Shane Walker sits down with Mandie herself, to address some of the common misconceptions that often come her way.
