Edward Shlikas

Edward Shlikas, an unaffiliated candidate for Congress, is a horticulturalist from Jarrettsville with a background in business operations and organizational management. Shlikas earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware.

Shlikas previously led the New MB HomeCare Office at Glen Meadows Continuing Care Retirement Community, where he implemented an online caregiver scheduling system. According to his LinkedIn biography, the system reduced scheduling errors and eliminated approximately 1,572 hours of manual scheduling work annually. He has also received the Freeman Award for Excellence in Service and the Unsung Hero Award at St. Paul's Schools.
