Born and raised in Caroline County, Porter graduated from NCHS in 1970 and received A. A. Degree from Chesapeake College. He currently resides in Denton, Maryland with his wife Barbara. Porter says he is running to continue his representation of the people in Caroline County. He is focused on issues specific to his county such as health care access, infrastructure improvements, and accountability.
