Born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Johnson earned a B.A. from Salisbury University (2017) and an M.Ed. from Bowie State University (2022). He is a public school educator and former Kent County School Board member having served on the Maryland PIA Compliance Board, Judicial Nominating Commission, and Kent County Democratic Central Committee.
