Rony Baltazar-Lopez

Rony Baltazar-Lopez, a Democrat running for Delaware’s State House District 36, was born and raised in Milford, Delaware. As the son of immigrants from Mexico and Guatemala, he has deep ties to his community and a strong commitment to public service. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees, with a focus on public administration. Baltazar-Lopez has experience working in various government roles, including positions with the Delaware Department of State as the Director of Legislative Affairs and Communications and as a staffer for U.S. Senator Tom Carper. He also served on the Milford School Board, becoming the youngest and first Latino member. His professional journey emphasizes advocating for the Hispanic community and expanding access to resources for marginalized groups​
