Patrick Smith

Smith, born in Hagerstown, Maryland, spent his early years in Milford. He attended Holy Cross Elementary in Dover and Caesar Rodney High School. He was also active in the Camden Wyoming and Dover fire companies as a volunteer firefighter. Smith earned a degree in Psychology from West Virginia University. He later completed an MBA in Management Information Systems at Wilmington University. His career includes work as an abuse investigator for the Delaware Department of Children Youth and Families (DSCYF) and an administrative role at the Dover Fire Department, where he also served as a volunteer firefighter. Currently, Smith works remotely as an IT professional specializing in electronic medical records, advocating for the potential of remote work to bring new job opportunities to the area. He lives in Ellendale and remains active in the community as a firefighter at Ellendale Fire Company.
