CAMBRIDGE, MD. - Police say two suspects were responsible for the incident.
Cambridge Police say on Oct. 29, around 10:35 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Foxtail Drive for shots fired. Officers say while on route, they were informed that there was at least one shooting victim on location.
Officers arrived and reportedly found the rear door had been shot out. Police say multiple shell casings were found along with damage to the inside of the home. Officers say they located a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left ankle/foot area.
Dorchester County EMS reportedly arrived to the location and transported the victim to Tidal Health in Salisbury for non-life threatening injuries.
Cambridge Detectives took over the investigation and say there were two suspects dressed in all black with face masks on. Both suspects were reportedly armed, one with a handgun and one with a rifle.
Police say it is believed this is an isolated targeted incident and there is no threat to the public at this time. Detectives are requesting the communities assistance with any information related to this incident.
