EASTON, Md. – The Town of Easton is asking residents and visitors to share their thoughts on the town’s parks through a new community survey.
The Easton Parks Survey is designed to help the town understand how people currently use its parks, how satisfied they are with the existing parks system and what improvements or amenities they would like to see in the future.
The survey asks participants to weigh in on potential amenities, including playground equipment, walking trails, pickleball and basketball courts, sports fields, pavilions, gardens, fitness facilities, splash pads and water access.
Participants can also identify existing parks that could benefit from additional amenities and provide feedback on whether Easton needs additional parks.
The feedback will help shape the town’s upcoming Parks and Recreation Annual Plan.
“Easton’s parks are for everyone, and we want to give everyone a chance to have a say in how they evolve over time,” said Lorraine Gould, director of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Easton. “Let us know if there’s something new you’d like to see in town and maybe we can make it happen.”
The survey also asks participants how they use Easton’s parks, including for recreation, sports, exercise, relaxation and family activities.
The Easton Parks Survey is available through the town’s Engage Easton page.
