DELAWARE/MARYLAND- Delaware and Maryland will be offering free public transit rides for Veterans on Saturday.

DelDOT says DART will offer free rides on all statewide bus services. Veterans must show a Veteran’s ID Card or DD 214 to ride.

MDOT says the Maryland Transit Administration Local Bus, Metro Subway, Light Rail, MARC Train, and Commuter Bus will offer free rides for all U.S. military veterans, active-duty military, and members of the National Guard and Reserves.

Riders will need to show an S. Department of Defense-issued ID (Armed Forces/Uniformed Services/Military Retiree), S. Department of Veterans Affairs-issued ID, or Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration Veteran designation on a driver’s license or state ID.
