ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va.- State Senator, Lynwood Lewis Jr., has announced he will not be seeking re-election in a newly drawn 20th senate district.
Lewis, who grew up on the Virginia eastern shore, made the announcement on Tuesday.
He was a member of the Virginia House from 2004 to 2014. He has been apart of the Virginia Senate since 2014.
Lewis says it has been an honor serving the Shore and this is the right choice for his family.
