The City of Salisbury announced D'Shawn Doughty as City Council's District 2 representative

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury this week welcomed its newest council member, District 2 representative D’Shawn Doughty.

Doughty represents the Salisbury district he calls home, and where he continues to make an impact on youth leadership. 

“I am humbled and honored to join the City Council and represent the good people of District 2,” he said. “I grew up in this district, have seen the challenges our people face, and am excited to focus my efforts on how we can make Salisbury better for all.”

Doughty is a City of Salisbury Kindness Commissioner, president of the Salisbury Junior Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Executive Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore. He says his passion for community service and development will drive his work on the City Council.
