SALISBURY, MD– The City of Salisbury announced yesterday it will seek community input in forming its Comprehensive Plan by hosting an open house Wednesday.

Officials and community members will discuss priorities in housing, land development, economic growth and more to help form a new Comprehensive Plan.

Each Maryland municipality is required to update its Comprehensive Plan every 10 years. Salisbury last did so in 2010.

The City’s Department of Infrastructure will host its Public Open House Workshop Jan. 17 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Salisbury Fire Department Headquarters, 325 Cypress Street.

For those who cannot attend, an online survey is available.
