DART Launches 'Stuff The Bus' Food Drive to Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts, April 26-30

DELAWARE- The “Stuff the Bus” Thanksgiving Food Drive is returning to Delaware.

There will be drop-off donation opportunities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the first state including:

  • Nov. 6: Safeway on Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach and ShopRite on Chestnut Hill Plaza in Newark
  • Nov. 7:  Walmart on N. DuPont Boulevard in Milford and Safeway on John Hunn Brown Road in Dover
  • Nov. 8: ShopRite of First State Plaza on W. Newport Pike in Stanton
  • Nov. 9: Rodney Square, Market Street side in Wilmington
  • Nov. 10: ShopRite of Brandywine Commons on Rocky Run Parkway in Wilmington
  • Nov. 11: ShopRite of Four Seasons on Plaza Drive in Newark.

All Delaware DMVs will also be offering additional drop-off sites. Donations will be accepted starting October 30th to November 6th.

Non-perishables and canned goods are being accepted.

The goal this year is to collect 20 tons of food for those in need of food assistance.
