BERLIN, Md.- Berlin is planning two town-wide power outages as part of scheduled maintenance.
The first outage is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, from 1 a.m. to approximately 6 a.m. A second outage is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.
According to Berlin Electric, the outages are necessary for preventive maintenance and are expected to help prevent future long-term power outages.
The plan is weather-dependent, and any schedule changes will be announced if needed.
