Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021, shortly after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She produces our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won three first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association since joining Delmarva's News Leader.
REHOBOTH BEACH, DE- Work on a busy road in Rehoboth Beach is set to begin in April.
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announced that paving between 2nd Street and the traffic circle on Rehoboth Avenue will begin on Sunday, April 6 and last through Friday, May 16. DelDOT says the work will be done overnight, between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Drivers can expect lane closures and parking restrictions during the project.
