WICOMICO COUNTY, MD– Maryland's Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) recently awarded Business Boost grants to 22 applicants, including two Wicomico County businesses.

Grants ranging from $20,000 to $50,000 go toward community-focused small businesses for capital expansion opportunities which will positively impact the local and regional economies.

The Night Watch Childcare Center in Salisbury received over $23,000 to support parents' efforts to advance their careers through online education or apprenticeships.

Pickled Goose Catering's $50,000 grant will go toward an expanded event space and additional mobile kitchen to serve Downtown Salisbury.

Over $900,000 in grants was awarded to 22 small businesses across eight Maryland counties in the 2024 Business Boost application round.
